Terms of service
1. Overview
This website is operated by Anaequi di Gianluca Carrano, based in Naples, Italy (“Anaequi”, “we”, “us” or “our”).
These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of anaequi.com, as well as purchases made through the website.
By accessing our website, placing an order or purchasing an Anaequi product, you agree to these Terms & Conditions together with the policies referenced herein, including our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy and Return & Refund Policy.
If you do not agree with these Terms & Conditions, please do not use the website or place an order.
2. Our Products
Anaequi offers made-to-order wall art, including Fine Art Prints, Framed Prints, Canvas and Float Framed Canvas artworks.
Each artwork is produced specifically for your order according to the artwork, size, finish and, where applicable, frame option selected at checkout.
We make reasonable efforts to display product descriptions, dimensions, colors and images as accurately as possible. However, colors may vary slightly between screens and the finished product due to differences in monitor settings, display technology, printing processes and the material or finish selected.
Interior images and room mockups are provided for visualization purposes and may not represent the exact physical scale of the artwork. Please always refer to the dimensions stated on the individual product page and our Size Guide before placing an order.
Textures, brush marks, plaster effects, grain, distressed details and other tactile-looking elements visible within an artwork are visual elements of the printed design and are not physically raised unless explicitly stated otherwise on the product page.
Reasonable variations arising from the printing process or characteristics of the selected material that do not materially affect the product are not considered defects.
3. Diptychs and Triptychs
Where an artwork is sold as a diptych or triptych, the order includes the individual panels that form the complete composition shown on the applicable product page, unless otherwise stated.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, the size displayed for a diptych or triptych refers to the dimensions of each individual panel, not the total dimensions of the complete composition.
The final overall width of the installation will depend on the size of the individual panels and the spacing chosen between them.
4. Orders
By placing an order, you confirm that the information you provide during checkout is complete and accurate and that you are authorized to use the payment method selected.
After placing an order, you will receive an order confirmation. Receipt of an order confirmation does not prevent us from cancelling an order where reasonably necessary, including in cases of suspected fraud, payment failure, obvious pricing or product-information errors, product unavailability, or circumstances that make fulfillment impossible.
If we cancel an order after payment has been collected and the order cannot be fulfilled, the applicable amount paid will be refunded to the original payment method.
5. Made-to-Order Production
Every Anaequi artwork is made to order. We do not hold pre-produced inventory of finished artworks.
Production may begin shortly after an order is placed.
Before completing your purchase, you are responsible for reviewing the selected artwork, dimensions, orientation, number of panels, finish, frame option and shipping information.
If you need to modify or cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible at studio@anaequi.com.
Cancellation or modification can only be guaranteed before production has begun. Once production has started, we generally cannot cancel or modify the order.
Please refer to our Return & Refund Policy for further information.
6. Prices and Payment
Product prices are displayed in the currency applicable to the market or storefront through which you are shopping.
Any applicable shipping charges, taxes or other charges will be displayed during checkout where required before the purchase is completed.
Payment must be successfully authorized before an order can be processed.
We reserve the right to correct obvious pricing, typographical or product-information errors.
If an error materially affects an order that has already been placed, we may contact you before proceeding with the order or cancel the affected order and issue the appropriate refund.
7. Shipping and Delivery
Anaequi currently ships to addresses within the United States only.
Because every artwork is made to order, estimated delivery times include both production and shipping.
Delivery dates and timeframes displayed on our website are estimates rather than guaranteed delivery dates.
If circumstances arise that prevent us from shipping an order within the applicable timeframe, we will communicate with the customer and handle any delay, cancellation or refund in accordance with applicable law.
Please refer to our Shipping Policy for current production times, estimated delivery times, tracking and other shipping information.
8. Shipping Information and Customer Responsibility
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address when placing an order.
Please check your shipping information carefully before completing your purchase.
If you discover an error after placing an order, contact us as soon as possible at studio@anaequi.com.
We cannot guarantee that a shipping address can be changed after an order has entered production or has been dispatched.
If an order cannot be delivered because an incorrect or incomplete shipping address was provided by the customer, additional production or shipping charges may apply if the order needs to be reproduced or resent.
9. Returns, Exchanges, Cancellations and Refunds
Because Anaequi artworks are made specifically for each order, all made-to-order sales are final once production has begun, except where otherwise required by applicable law.
Once production has begun, we generally do not accept returns, exchanges or refunds for change of mind or personal preference, including where:
- you change your mind after production has begun;
- you selected the wrong artwork, size, orientation, finish or frame;
- the artwork is larger or smaller than expected where the correct dimensions were provided before purchase;
- the artwork does not suit your room, furniture, décor, wall or personal expectations;
- you no longer want or need the artwork.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, restrict or limit any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law, including rights that may apply where a product is damaged, defective, incorrect or otherwise materially non-conforming.
Please refer to our Return & Refund Policy for complete details.
10. Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Products
If your artwork arrives damaged, defective or materially different from what you ordered, please contact us as soon as possible at studio@anaequi.com.
We may request:
- your order number;
- a description of the issue;
- clear photographs of the artwork; and
- clear photographs of the packaging.
Please retain the artwork and its original packaging while your claim is being reviewed.
Where a claim is verified, we will provide an appropriate resolution, which may include replacement or refund, in accordance with our Return & Refund Policy and applicable law.
11. Intellectual Property and Artwork Rights
All artworks, designs, images, photographs, graphics, logos, branding, text, product descriptions and other original content displayed or made available through Anaequi are owned by, or lawfully licensed to, Anaequi and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark and intellectual property laws.
All rights are reserved.
Purchasing an Anaequi artwork grants the customer ownership of the physical product purchased only. The purchase does not transfer copyright, reproduction rights, commercial exploitation rights or any other intellectual property rights in the underlying artwork, image or design.
Unless expressly authorized in writing by Anaequi, customers may not:
- reproduce, copy, scan, photograph or digitize an artwork for commercial reproduction;
- create, manufacture or sell prints, posters, canvases, merchandise or other products featuring the artwork;
- reproduce or use the artwork for commercial, advertising, promotional or branding purposes;
- distribute, license, sublicense or otherwise commercially exploit the artwork or its image;
- upload or distribute high-resolution reproductions of the artwork for commercial use;
- modify the artwork for the purpose of creating derivative products for sale or other commercial exploitation;
- claim authorship, copyright or other intellectual property rights in the artwork.
The purchase of a physical artwork does not grant a license to reproduce or commercially exploit the artwork.
Nothing in these Terms prevents the lawful resale, gifting or transfer of ownership of the individual physical product originally purchased, where permitted by applicable law. However, any such transfer does not include or transfer copyright, reproduction rights or commercial exploitation rights in the underlying artwork.
Any commercial use, reproduction, licensing or other exploitation of an Anaequi artwork requires prior written authorization from Anaequi.
All copyright and intellectual property rights not expressly granted remain reserved.

We reserve the right to restrict access to the website where reasonably necessary to protect Anaequi, our customers or our services.
13. Third-Party Services
Anaequi may use third-party service providers for ecommerce infrastructure, payment processing, production, fulfillment, shipping, analytics, communications and other services necessary to operate the website and fulfill orders.
Certain features or services may therefore be subject to the terms, policies or technical availability of third-party providers.

16. Privacy
Personal information collected through the website is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Please review our Privacy Policy and Privacy Choices page for further information about how personal information is collected, used and disclosed and about privacy rights that may be available to you.
17. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions and the contractual relationship between you and Anaequi are governed by the laws of Italy, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights or other mandatory laws that may apply based on the customer’s place of residence or the jurisdiction in which Anaequi offers its products.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to deprive a consumer of any protection or remedy that cannot lawfully be waived, restricted or excluded.
18. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes to our products, services, business practices or applicable legal requirements.
Any updated version will be published on this website with a revised “Last updated” date.
The version of these Terms in effect at the time an order is placed will generally apply to that purchase, except where otherwise required by applicable law.
19. Severability
